How to Check Huroob Status in Saudi Arabia – Step-by-Step Guide
Huroob means when an employer (kafeel) reports to the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development that an employee has been absent from work or has run away.
As a result, your Iqama becomes illegal, you are at risk of arrest, and you may face deportation.

In this guide, we will learn how you can check your Huroob status online.

Step 1.

Open the Ministry of Labor Website FROM HERE

Step 2.

  • Enter your Iqama number in the first box,
  • in the second box select your nationality
  • and enter the captcha in the third box

You have to enter your nationality in Arabic. If you don’t know Arabic, I am providing here the Asian countries in Arabic, so you can copy and paste from here.

After entering all these details, you need to click on بحث. (search) You will find this green-colored button below.

After this, the result will appear.

Step 4 – Understand the Result

  • If you see على رأس العمل → You are “On the Job” (No Huroob).
  • If you see متغيب عن العمل → You are “Absent from Work” (Huroob applied).

What to Do If Huroob Has Been Applied?

  • Try to talk to your employer and request them to cancel the Huroob.
  • File a case at the labour office (if you have a valid reason).
  • Seek help from a legal consultant.
  • Do not ignore your status, otherwise, you may face deportation.
